well as some may know, pa's homecoming was last night. before homecoming chris, liz, me, evan, melanie, and bryant went to dinner at red star tavern. it was really really fun. the gurl's all ordered like these cheap meals at a really expensive restauraunt. our waitress was like on crack or something and she kept forgetting what we ordered. i tried calamari for the first time, which actually turned out to be really good. then we walked to planet music in our nice clothes, and after that bryant and melanie went to see a movie, cause they didnt want to go to homecoming. so evan, chris, liz and i went to homecoming, which seemed real cool at first. the lights and fog were cool and all. but then it started to get packed, and it got really hott. you couldn't even really dance a song before you would have to go outside to cool off. it just really wasn't that fun. i didnt really want to hang out with other people besides them three, cause you would lose them so easily cause it was too damn packed. i called my mom(who happened to have chris and evan's mom over) and she couldn't believe that we wanted to leave early. usually i love dances. she was like alright someone will pick you up at 9:30, which did happen. we ended up leaving an hour in a half early. in some ways i regret it, but i really didnt care if we stayed or went. im sure it got better, but i swear the heat and the crowd was not worth it. so we went to my house and just chilled for a while before the boys went home. next year, i dont think ill go to homecoming unless it is in the gym. and if it isnt we all will just probably make plans to go out to dinner and a movie. the dinner was ten times more fun then the atual homecoming. i do feel that those 3 people are like my best friends(but one being my boyfriend). i felt like an adult last night just talking after the dance. it was really cool to see liz and evan talking like that and to hear liz says that she thinks evan is awesome, even after our difficulties. the moral of the sotry is, is pa needs more air conditioning.
love, melissa
