(no subject)
Well isnt this nice. Im sat in bed and have all i need right here. Cd player busting out some 'size, the tv, mobile phone for those important calls and the world wide web sat baking my lap. All this because i have a day off rounding down what has been a lovely 5 day weekend. Work shall seem positively discuting in comparison once i return.
So Friday me and Chloe got back home at about 2 and i didnt get up Friday till about 12ish which was pretty good for me but got on with some light recording. Trying new bass sounds over some old songs to try and get it sounding half decent. It dont help when you have the spade and a guitar amp to work with, might try pick a practice one up on the cheap. Didnt do to much Friday, i didnt watch any of the pile of films ive still got from Justin. Not really in a movie mood right now.
Saturday we went upto Nottm for some boozing. This was Dave's first drink in about two months so it promised to be eventful and surprisingly enough it didnt disapoint. We had some drinks around town and got an Ultimate Burger as well. Which dispite being very ultimate came to about £10 each with a drink, pricey. Saying that it at least we went and did it and we now know. Went to Foremans as well after which was another first for me, small, alright for a bit but got boring. More booze and hit City up later, missing 65DOS because no one wanted to go in till late so we got there and 100 Reasons had just come on so it wasnt a total loss. They were cool, always been a fan of them from the first and second album and ive heard the 3rd is good so i might have to pick that up 2. Didnt play Remmus whilst i was there which was gay cos that song rules but they were still cool. City was pretty cool but ive had better nights really. Then came what i can only describe as one of the most ridiculous turn of events ive been privy to. Dan had booked a taxi off of Ants dad and we had to meet him at half 3 but he was late and we couldnt get through to him so Ste and Dave went to get some food leaving us to wait. Thats fair enough cos i just had a burger and i wasn't hungry and Dan wanted something and Dave didnt get him anything when he asked him to. So im sat with Dan moaning about how he had sorted the taxi out and they couldnt even get him some chips or whatever, which is understandable. So those two come back and Dan starts having a go at Dave. Now id probably find this quite amusing but at the time i thought it was just stupid. Dave starts saying to Dan "ill fight ya right, mates afterwards, ill fight ya now" lol. I mean fucks sake. So he dumps his food over head for whatever reason and Dan stands up to him and says something in which Dave then throws him over skidding across the floor and is about to deck him until a bouncer tells them to both fuck off. They're still there arguing with each other and Dave still claiming he's gonna bash Dan and oh dear. It was all most unnessesary and frankly not something i care about dealing with at 4 in the morning. Anyways it calms down and we all get home safely. I must remember to leave a humourous comment on Daves myspace about it. Im good like that ya see.
So today will inlove a few hours of recording and ringing up to get my grubby little hands on a Leeds ticket. Might buy 2 and sell one ho ho. This all ofcourse if they dont sell out which is highly likely.
