Beautiful morning looking out at Hackney today. All orangey and cold and a bit misty.
Went to a comedy club on Thursday with Abe and it was pretty good. The place was in Bethnal green and was owned by lee sharpe but he wasnt doing stand up. I was pleasantly suprised by how funny it was. but there were an amazing amount of student doctors in the room.
The whole plan with gemma worked really well i came home to find her in my bed watching secretary eating the jam tarts i'd left her.
But am v glad i went out with Abe. He's 20 so nicely close to my age. he's a student doctor (bit of a doctor nurse cliche there) he has an American accent ( he isnt really american- he grew up in Saudi Arabia and went to an international school) and he's a really nice cheerful person which i could possibly need right now. Plus his halls are at the Royal London hospital where im on placement on monday- so when i dont feel like getting up at 6am to get to work i can stay there. v good arrangement.
I should do some excercise this morning but i cant really be arsed. not very good at motivating myself. hannah is working at the post office.
I have lots to buy today. i'm going to get a thermos and make soup and take it to work. I made carrot and corriander the other day. was proper good. feeling very domesticated. things are really looking up. soup and a doctor. lovely.
