Well, here I am in New York, visiting Jacob and deliriously happy about it. ^_^ Took long enough to get here... apparently Bush was flying through Philadelphia (my connection city) on Wednesday and everything shut down for Air Force One, so I spent an obscene amount of time sitting in airports and stuff and wound up getting here at about, oh, 11:30 when I should have been here at more like 8:15.
In other news, holy shit Paula and Brandon are engaged! *twirls a noisemaker and blows a hooter - don't ask where I got them from* Looks like I'm already hitting that time in my life when my friends are all going to start getting married... This is freakish, you know. I'm only just turned 21. Aaaaah!
P.S. to Mel: I asked for kitchen-y stuff and cookbooks for graduation, considering the whole 'starting to live on my own soon' thing. I can't tell you how hard I laughed when my aunt gave me a Rachel Ray cookbook. ^_^
