(no subject)
I haven't updated in awile but we have been going crazy trying to get our house renovated and fixed up for when camren comes home. I just got off the phone with Suzie and they started his feeds at 1.5mL continuously. They also took him off of the nasal cannula. He hasn't had a brady or a desat in 2 days!!! If his stomach can handle the feeds, then they are going to let me try to breast feed him after my post partum appt. on Thursday. His X-Rays came back fine. The swelling in his intestines went down, and teh spinal tap came back negative. The infection came from the intestines. Last time they stopped the antibiotics to early. So they put him on a full 10 day round of antibiotics this time and that is over tomorrow. He had a wonderful Father's Day with his daddy on Sunday. The hospital made a card for Dillon. It has a great picture of Camren and then a little poem. It made us cry!!! Now for the wonderful news.......He gets to come home in about a week or two if he doesn't get sick again!!! All of his blood tests and X-Rays and gasses and everything has come back negative for infection! I am so excited!!! Everyone is! We have started planning a welcome home/baby shower. But it all depends on him...
