Well today the I.V. came out and so did his PIC line. He weighed 2 lbs 9.5 oz. and is still 14.5 inches long. He is still on 21% oxygen. But they are going to up his feeds to the max for his age tomorrow. Once he reaches 3 lbs. I will be able to start breast feeding him. and at 3.5 to 4 lbs he will be moved to an open crib and then he can ( Read more... )

He isn't doing so well. He had a surgery when he was 5 days old and now he may have to have another one. He has an infection in his colon and if it progresses to his intestine, it will swell and he will have to have surgery. So, they say he is critical again and he is being watched 24/7. Now he has his I.V. back in and antibiotics again. His PIC line wil go back in and they stopped his feeds.
