Very busy past two weeks, hopefully the upcoming weeks will be less busy, but still will definitely be busy. They were exciting too though!
So last weekend Bill and I went to see Taking Back Sunday at the Tsongas Arena. We found our way there very easily, which is amazing since we used mapquest. We stodd outside for about an hour, an hour and a half in the freezing cold. I was wearing my big huge Colombia snow jacket and gloves and had my hands shoved as far into my pockets as I possibly could. I also dedicated a significant amount of time to jumping up and down and obsessing over whether or not my nose was running. So, we finally get inside, get felt up by some security guards and head upstairs. The weird thing about the Tsongas arena is you have to go up to go down... you figure it out.
Anyway, I take my gloves off and the tip of my middle finger on my left hand is completely friggin white, with just a hint of blue under the nail. Of course my first thought is, "Shit I have frostbite and they're going to have to cut my finger off." So after rubbing it for about five minutes and still gaining no feeling or color, Bill stopped a medic and asked him if it was OK. He looked at us like we were retarded and said it was fine. Eh, to make a long story short I ran it under warm water and I'm fine.
AND THEN we were down on the floor and everything seemed fine... until the opening acts came on (Armor for Sleep and Underoath). Suddenly there were hundreds of people behind us pushing and breathing heavy and sweating and violating other people's personal space. I am five feet, four inches tall and I weigh about 115 pounds - this was not a safe situation for me. So Bill and I had to fight our way out. In case you didnt guess, we made it. I know. How anticlimactic.
The actual show, by the way, was great.
Let's see did an obscene amount of homework in the course of a week and a half... OH and then my uncle forced me into a job an interivew and spending most of Friday in Boston all alone with nothing to do and nowhere to go. THAT was fun.
The silver lining: Starbucks with Siobhan.YAY! That's all I have to say about that.
And finally, Uncle Tommy and Dee got married yesterday! It was a very nice ceremony at the Melrose VFW with close family and friends and a really sketchy ass DJ. Had a lot of fun at that AND I got to dress up.
Speaking of dressing up, why is it that no matter what you do you can't get the crotch of panty hose to go any higher than mid-thigh. SO uncomfortable. They alos make me less inclined to pee when I have to because they're such a pain to pull up and down. The things women do to make it look like they actually have color in their legs. SHEESH!
The End.
