He discouraged me into a feeling of worthlessness so i wouldnt be up for taking notes.
He distracted me with another website as i was coming to livejournal.
And then he tried to put LJ under maintence.

The Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven
1At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"
2He called a little child and had him stand among them. 3And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5"And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. 6But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
7"Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come! 8If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. 9And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.
1. What was the basic of the disciples arguement?
Who is going to be the greatest in Heaven.
*You need to trust like a little child, if you put a child on a table and say i'll catch you a child will jump and trust that you will catch them. You need to jump, and let Jesus catch you.
*The oppisite of humility is pride
*They(the disciples) say if they say if they are by Jesus, they are better than the other 10. because of pride they feel that they want to be better than the other 10. (there are 12 disciples, only 2 could be by him, one to left one to right. they want to be better than the 10 who dont get to be by him.) This is pride. (ghem, bad.)
*Its no even good to be alive if you cause a little one to sin, thats how much he(Jesus) cares about them.
*Satan knows your weakpoint, he doesnt give up after 1st or 2nd rejection. he keeps going untill you give in. how to defeat satan? stay close to God.(something i may have just learned to do.)
2.Contrast the childish actions in the disciples Jesus commanded them to have like a child:
HUMILITY. (what Jesus wanted his disciples to have like a child has.)
WHy should i be humble? Because God commanded me to be.
Humility-The oppisite of pride, not proud or boastful ; caring for the needs of others above self ; thinking less often of self than of others
In other words :: you put others needs and desires before yours.
3.Why should we have humility? We're commanded to have.
Its a command, not a suggustion.
(That reminds me of this thing i saw that my gpa had, 'God didnt call them the 10 suggustions')
*The arguement still goes on today, we all want to be better than someone else.
4.What was the change of focus Jesus gave?(Verse 5.) At the beginning the focus was who was the greatest, but now verse 5, Jesus is focusing on a little child that he is holding.
5.How should children be treated in ways that demonstarates the nation of Christ? Kindness, patience
V.S. 6-not litereal, but serious.
*Dont cause anyone, especially the little ones to sin. for this offends God.
12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience
*What is the oppisite of being humble? Pride. Lifting yourself up.
*Jesus says if your not humble i'll force you to be humble & it wont be easy. but if you are humble willingly he will parade you in heaven & honor you. But he honors more to those who are not honored here.
*We are not humble because we want to be noticed.
*We have to humble ourselves rather than be humbled or humiliated by others. dont let other people humble you, humble yourself.
