i've been keeping my silence for a long time now. first because hope was lost, and then because, temporarily (..as all things..) hope was restored. and because i wanted to try something new: silence on lj.

but now i've decided to break the silence.
and so here i am. and here are a few things you should know:

(ps. don't challenge me on these things because you will sure as hell lose.)

• people who update solely to update about their current romantic relationships, are the very people who will end up hurting the most when these relationships come to an end. before that happens to you, i suggest you find something else to update about, so that when your relationship does end (and it will), you somewhat feel like you have a life of your own, separate from your relationship. i'm only trying to save you pain, really.


• romantic love does not exist. it is a manifestation of emotions, and biological functions, and heart rates, and brain waves, etc. it's pleasurable. it feels good while it lasts, or while you perceive to exist, and last. it's another one of those temporary manifestations.


• the only true people in the world are your family, and your closest, and most dear friends. please keep them in your life as much as you can. this kind of love is permanent, and does exist.


• only keep those in your life that you value, and are loyal to you. you don't have time to waste on the others.


• be very, very, selfish. do what you enjoy, and do a lot of it. this is the kind of positive light you need in your life (and will be sustainable, and permanent). the kind that you produce.


• do not major in psychology.


• do major in something like business, or marketing, or finance, or something that allows you to get a good/decent job right out of college. be practical.


• innocence lasts up to age 10. or slightly older, if you're one of those pure-hearted losers, like i was. if you are, it will last until you are 21. but by the time you are 22 (3 months away!) it will no longer exist, and that is how it should be.
