So, today Denver and I went with the apartment locator guy. We found a townhouse that we're probably gonna end up going with. It's at Balcones Woods and 183, real close to where I used to live. It's 2/2 with HUGE closets and an awesome balcony. We'll see.
I ordered my dress today. It's from Jessica McClintock and it's FABULOUS. And for $215.42 after tax and shipping for the dress that's EXACTLY what I envisioned, you can't go wrong. I'd describe it (there aren't pictures on the web anymore) but Denver reads this and he'd start reading and then get upset because he says he already knows too much (it's ivory, no train, off the shoulder) so just ask me!
We got our photographer booked for the wedding. We're using Ron, the guy who did my brother and Katy's wedding. We have a meeting with him to sign contracts on the 8th. He's a bit pricey, but SO worth it. He's the second most expensive thing in the wedding, behind the reception site. He's really excited about doing the wedding, and is wanting to do our engagement pictures on Lake Travis. He's like, "I'm gonna make your day... I've got some new albums that are really beautiful and we're gonna do some great engagement shots." AWESOME!
We have our church reserved, Grace Fellowship United Methodist, we just need to send in one more paper and we're set. Holla! In the next few days, I'll be getting in touch with a friend's dad... we'd really love to have Big Steve marry us, since I've known him since I was little. And because his granddaughter Mia is our flowergirl and how cute is that?
We called the reception site to check date availability and we're waiting to hear back. We're gonna have them hold it if that's possible and we'll either mail them a check or just have them wait until the 8th when we can come in and pay the deposit and sign the contract.
I'm so excited. Everything is really finally coming together. My wedding isn't just talk anymore! The ball is rolling and we're both so ready. dum dum dadum! dum dum dadum! *eeee*
