livejournal has lost its fun, the way gum loses taste... but i still love it from time to time.
So. Summer's here. I'm currently taking two classes at Pierce. (the local community college in the valley) They're only a month long, and I'm getting 15 credits!
I'm taking Yoga and Child Development. I love yoga because its so relaxing and I like the challenge of it. Child Development is fascinating... it reassures me that I'm cut out for psychology lol.
Chatsworth Summer School starts July 6th. I'm taking US History B and Computers. Summer schools lame, but I have to do it so its not like I really have a choice. I'm kinda excited, though, because Jennifer's friend CHristopher's coming to our school and we're all gonna hang out and she keeps telling me how amazing he is so I'm finally going to get to meet the guy.
I'm in a really good place right now. I actually love it at Jamba Juice now, thanks in no part to my favorite coworker HYCY!
I'm just really happy. I've recently become so close with my friend Caity... it's weird how you meet someone and you just click and you start this amazing friendship that means so much. Yeah, its amazing. AMAZING.
Antoinette graduated... ahhh I'm gonna miss her at school next year.
So one of my best friends Sasha's dad died recently, and it would mean a lot for you guys to send your thoughts and prayers to her. This is a really hard time for her as you can imagine, so your support is nice.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRIS! today cris turned 18, but his lazy ass wanted to sleep instead of hang out. what a loser. hah, love that kid.
So I look back on this past school year and so much has happened. A lot of firsts, a lot of friends, and just a lot of growth. I'm so happy with who I am and what I've become and I see my future holding endless possibilities. It's a nice feeling.
I miss West LA so much though... I still hate the valley. It's not me, and this heat is killing me. I feel no attachment to Chatsworth and really look forward to graduating but I love my friends. I went from knowing hardly anyone last year to meeting so many people this year and establishing some amazing friendships that honestly mean the world to me.
We might move back though... so who knows. I'd love it if we did, because then I could go to SMC instead of Moorpark or Pierce.
I really miss Evan and Shane sometimes. We need a Nerrtle reunion, but I'm just so damn busy. fucking love those bitches.
Sometimes I wonder what my high school experience would have been like if I had stayed at Uni. I know that I would have liked it better than Chatsworth. I don't really miss Uni, because that would be kinda pathetic since I only went there for a semester but I really wish I had stayed there. i guess SHIT HAPPENS KID.
I havent had internet for over a month but we're getting it back in a few days. Switching to Vonage was a mistake and it turns out their service doesnt work in California or some shit. Yeah, so I just thought I'd update while I had the chance.
