[A soft clunking noise is made as Kanji sets his gear down on the floor. Maoh curiously pokes his head up at the noise and makes his way over to the gear. After poking some buttons he switches it over from audio to video and beings to play with it.

Yeah, you got a point there. And you never know, I guess. She may end up back here... Or we'll get to leave too. That's probably wishful thinking, though.

Yeah, it'd be pretty damn awesome if she came back--but... I'm not gonna get my hopes up or anything. Leaving would be cool too, but I don't think this place works like that.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be at first, but damn... when this place sucks it up? It really sucks.

Man the only thing I liked about this place was the fact that there was no school here--but damn. School at least gave me somethin' to do. Even if I didn't like doin' half of the shit they made us do. [he shakes his head.] And man that takes somethin' to make me actually miss goin' to school.
