I got frustrated with iTunes not moving my music to one folder, so I decided to start over from scratch. I deleted the old library file and created a new one on Nydus. I then did a search for all the music files on Nydus (there are a few scattered on Spawning Pool, but I'll deal with those later). When the results came up, I selected everything and opened it. That was two days ago and it's still going through the music. It just passed through song 10900 of 11754 total. I was worried that I wasn't going to have enough space to double my library (because it copies the file to a new location), but it turns out that the two music folders only take up 116GB of space and Nydus can hold almost 300GB. Yay! I think I'm going to procure a second USB drive and save this one just for music. Of course, there will be a renaming since Nydus is used to convey items from one place to another. I think I'll call it Jukebox. Any other suggestions?
Update: After the transfer, there was an inconsistency of 30GB. So now I hooked up Nydus to PPS via USB and PPS to Babcom via an Ethernet crossover cable. I'll get the old music and set up a library, then the next time I'm over at B's, I'll do another big transfer and make sure everything gets to where it needs to go.
