I miss McHenry Library.

Wednesday night I hunkered down and watched three of the four movies I got yesterday.

Flannel Pajamas: I have no idea how this movie got into my queue, but I'm glad it was. I was also glad I paid attention to this movie. Usually I'm doing other things in addition to watching movies. For some reason, this wasn't the case. It was the story of a couple and a bunch of shit they go through. It really made me ponder of how to make a relationship work.

Ironman: I liked it, even though it was predictable. And, of course, I'm wondering what the sequel is going to be like.

Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker: This movie actually surprised me. It had Ewan McGregor in it, which was the initial reason I rented it. I expected it to be somewhat like the Spy Kids movies but it was much better. I was also surprised by how many stars were in it as well. It was a nice family (note, not kids') movie.

Major drama went down in the library yesterday right as I sat down. Two guys started arguing very loudly at a nearby table. One thought that he had the whole table reserved. The other politely informed him that it wasn't possible to reserve these tables *and* that he just sat down to charge his phone and check voicemail. They bantered back and forth until a librarian stepped in and schooled the first guy about table reservations (Phone guy was right.). I caught up on LJ, Twitter, email, and Vampire first, then did the rounds on Craigslist, Monster, and Careerbuilder. Once that was done I caught up on the latest episode of "Kings" that I missed on Sunday (Frelling VCR). I know it's a soap opera, but I'm beginning to like it. I was a bit put out by the first episode because they set up Ian McShane's character as somewhat of a "twue master dominate" (Whatever I say goes, even if I'm wrong.) and, I'm sorry, but that's no way to run a country. But, since there isn't much to watch on Sunday anyways, this will do... until NBC decides to move it to a different day.

I also tried to catch up with the latest episode of "Legend of the Seeker" (I have no fucking clue how I missed this episode.) but the stream kept fucking up and, before I knew it, the library was closing.

I went home and watched "August" and, once again, was pleasantly surprised. It was a bit of a flashback into the dot com bubble and the technical jargon made me giggle. I was surprised to see David Bowie toward the end (Still hot.). All in all, pretty damn good.

Today, I finally got to see the whole episode of "Legend of the Seeker - Bloodline." OMFG! It rocked. It was hard to keep quiet lest I disturb those around me.

Tonight I'm doing set up for the party at the local dungeon. I guess the utility gained from being social in a kinky environment and free food is outweighing the cost of a few gallons of gas tonight. I hope I get beat.
