Work, munch and movie
I was surprised the center didn't burn down today. We only had one manager on and no coaches to manage the AP. I was misscheduled for 5:00 even though I was very clear the day before to the Center Director about what hours I was willing to work. One tutor was called in early to cover one of my tables so I could take a break (Went all the way to Mountain View and ran into some old students. Freaky.). And we called in a substitute from another center to cover yet another table. Thankfully, she was also able to cover my last table and I jetted out a little after 5:00.
The munch was small and a bit on the quieter side, which was a nice change of pace from work. From what was discussed, sounds like the Saturday party should be a hoot. Too bad I won't be there.
Afterwards, four of us headed down to the Capitol 16 theater to see "Pineapple Express." We putzed around in the arcade. I got a bit of a pinball fix in... and then discovered my new favorite game. Big Buck Hunter Safari has got to be *the* coolest game in the arcade... period. I am definitely adding this to my list of "Big things I want to have when I have the money." After having a blast there, we headed into the movie. ZOMG! I never knew crack could be *that* good. It would definitely make a good movie for drunk night. For a stupid comedy, it was semi-intelligent at points. Won't give any spoilers away, but, if I had the cash, I would see it again in a heartbeat.
