Gather your required materials for this endeavor
One must be properly organized
Keep them clean until you need them
Keep them separate until time
A knife. Bread. Two jars of your choice.
Find the loaf of fresh bread you bought today--
Make sure that you bought the proper kind.
Taste a bit of a corner. Smell it. Is it good?
Take two slices and set them aside for now
We need to make sure these are safe.
Find the first of the jars, either one you choose
Grab hold the lid and jar firmly with each hand
Twist the lid counter-clockwise to open
If the jars are new: break the seals, or listen for the pop
(You may also open the other, if you wish)
Take the knife into your preferred hand
(If you are not allowed to have a knife
You may use a spoon. I won’t look down upon you.)
Place the knife into the contents of the first jar.
Scoop up a desired amount with said knife.
Still holding the knife in your hand,
You may now take one slice of bread into your free hand
Set the bread on the table (or keep in your hand).
Take the material from the knife (using the knife)
And spread it across the face of the bread carefully.
Set that piece of bread down-- we’re done with it for now
Clean your knife if you feel you must
And scoop up the desired amount from the other jar
Take the other slice of bread (remember the other?)
Spread the new material onto the face of the new slice
When completed, examine the pieces of bread.
Take both slices into your hands
(Having stopped holding the knife by now)
Press the spread-covered faces of the bread together
(Not too hard, or you’ll have a mess to clean)
You may now do what you want with this.
You may eat it. Throw it at your friend
Give it to your pets for endless amusement.
Or, you may leave it on the table.
This is no concern of mine.
