to replace a cluth in a 94 civic ex, you get payed by a dealership for 4.5 hours of work. this work being done in there shop with a lift which raises the vehicle to where i can stand under it, and with a tranny jack which supports the transmission as you unbolt it from the engine and several brackets and mounts.... then you remove the pressure plate and the clutch from the engine which also needs to be supported bya jack or and engine cradle on top of hte engine... after putting the new clutch in with the special alignment tools which are very imperative to be correctly aligned, you put it all back... Me and Brad, in order to come visit everyone, are going to be doing this in a parking lot with no "lift" and no tranny jack.... so instead of standing unde the car we will be laying under it... in the snow mind you because we wenrt allowed to bring hte cehicle into shop on student day because the other kids deserved it more =)
