Trust His Heart

I was very glad to receive a call from my female best friend Dada who is now based in the U. S. As we talked about personal as well as global issues, the lyrics of the song Trust His Heart came to my mind...

It goes, "All things work for the good though sometimes we can't see how they could. Struggles that break our hearts in two sometimes blind us to the truth. Our Father knows what's best for us. His ways are not our own. So when your pathway grows dim and you just can't see Him, remember He's still on the throne. God is too wise to be mistaken, God is too good to be unkind. So when you don't understand, when you don't see His plan, when you can't trace His hand, trust His heart. He sees the masterplan, He holds the future in His hand. Don't live as those who have no hope, while our hope is found in Him. We see the present clearly but He sees the first and last like a tapestry, He's weaving you and me to someday be like Him. He alone is faithful and true. He alone knows what's best for you."

When we question God's wisdom, He does not explain Himself. Instead, God brings us to the point of realization that He is all-powerful and then proceeds to remind us that He is our Father who wants the best for His children.

In Job 38:4-11, God asks the following questions: "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much. Who determined its dimensions and stretched out the surveying line? What supports its foundations and who laid its cornerstone as the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy? Who kept the sea inside its boundaries as it burst from the womb, and as I clothed it with clouds and wrapped it in thick darkness? For I locked it behind barred gates, limiting its shores, I said, 'This far and no farther will you come. Here your proud waves must stop!'"

While many people shout, "Yes we can!", let us know that this is only possible because nothing is too difficult for Him and -- "Yes HE can!"
