Return of the Branni
Whee! I had such an amazing time in Jackson this week :)I was utterly spoiled though and I came out of it a little sick with a sinus infection but now i'm all sad because it's over. But it was such fun! We went to see the Atomic Brains/Gito Gito Hustler/the Spunks concert on monday night and ran into Byron, Kristin, Reeta, Jake, and a few other people. It was tons of fun. ^_^
I have to make a run by the bank tomorrow to see how much of a check I got, since I wasn't at work to pick up the slip. ^_^ I also still had like... 140-ish in the bank still when it was deposited, yay! I'm managing to do better at this whole 'money' thing.
*yawn* Yesterday I dressed to my true nature for the parade-- a devil! It was lots of fun, we had all the snakes going and the little kids, wow. I wish I'd had a camera to take pics, but if some come up I'll be sure to post them. The group one first place, the main award for the parade, even though we were a walking group and not a 'float' per se, basically a best-in-show thing. ^____^ When Trace (Alex's dad) called Amy (his stepmom) from the bar, we all knew that they won because Amy screamed it for the world (actually a lot of people were outside so it's a good thing she did or nobody would have heard lol) It was so fun, and all the little kids were so excited when they saw the huge trophy that Trace brought back. ^_^
Hmm. So fun. :)
