For the past few nights I have been suddenly developing a pounding headache. Not cool. I think it's a mixture of the heat, dehydration, boredom and being stuck in the electronics dept. of Kmart. The boredom and Kmart kinda go together. At least I was insulted today by a woman and her deaf daughter. I heard a scream and crash at the back of the department so I went to go see what was going on. There was a woman and her daughter (who I had no idea was deaf until she started moaning and making hand motions). I saw the girl grab a microphone and hurl it onto the floor. Not good. The mother says in a pissed off voice, "let's get the fuck out of here." VERY POLITELY and with a smile I ask the woman if she needs any help with anything or if she's all set. The fucking bitch (*ahem*) I mean, nice lady with a bad temper and retarded daughter says to me "yada yada yada ( I mentally blocked this part out) ....or are you just pushy!!!" Me, being shocked that someone wouldn't treat me nice, said "I was just seeing if you were all set because you can pay for your items here and don't have to go up front." She then went up to my register and gave me her item and started yelling at her deaf daughter, and her daughter starts freaking out in response. And the girl is at least in her young teens. How sad. So that made my day interesting for .26 seconds. If I ever have a deaf child, I will learn the whole American sign language back and forth so I can fully communicate with my child and not just yell at it like a fucking retarded bitch. Sorry, had to get that out to someone. Why not the whole world wide web? Ya, that's what I thought. Watch the woman find this and I'll get arrested. Another UNH tragedy via LJ. Anyway.....
Via AIM away message I found out that my friend Adam Knee has finally gotten a job and it is in Nantucket, producing and editing TV. YAY! Very happy for him. I asked my Dad where Nantucket is, and he said that it is near Cape Cod and Martha's Vinyard, so Adam must be making lots of money because it's very expensive to live down there. The richest people in the country live there.
Tomorrow I'm driving two hours to Holliston, Mass to visit my friend Heather. SO EXCITED! I'm going to wear hot pink shorts and I'm probably going to get lost and I only have her cell phone number. Meh. But I get to meet her friends once there and party all night long! ;-)
