Cheney says he has power to declassify information
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Vice President Dick Cheney said Wednesday that an executive order gives him the authority to declassify secret documents, but he would not say whether he authorized an indicted former aide to release classified information.

hmm once again a questionable executive order comes to light...
Forget any partisanship, just from my perspective as a lover of he constitution I am horrified by this. I am pretty sure that Madison is spinning in his grave right now.. hell they might as well have just put him on a rotisserie for the entire duration of this "imperial" presidency. It would seem to be the philosophy of this administration that the powers of the President are whatever he deems them to be.
