if you happen to mention that you're making white-chocolate covered truffles, and someone happens to mention they've got some white chocolate they've never used... you might want to go out and buy some new rather than use theirs.

I don't know if it was old or what, but it just kinda got squishy and crumbly, didn't melt right. :P the good news is I'm not doing this last minute, so I've got plenty of time to get some more :)

edit: er, I guess it was a different kind of chocolate. takes a different kind of effort to melt it properly. I'm still gonna pick up the kind I know how to use :P
