awkward to the extreme: my brother is learning to drive and i am not. ack.
i began to wonder today if the government really is the best way to make a difference in the world. if you want something done, i used to believe you should look to the government to do it. but perhaps the private sector is more effective. i guess it depends on what you're trying to do. if you want money for a cause, best to start a non-profit or something. if you want massive social change, maybe a lobbying group or something like NOW. if you want something to be punishable by law, you kinda need the government. so it all depends i suppose. gotta decide what part of public policy i wanna specialize in, then i can figure it out. i'm thinking south american relations or something. wouldn't that be fun? but i also really care about education and lots of other domestic stuff. who knows.
quantum problem set is going really well, i only have one more problem left!! i guess i'll have time to do my gov't key terms after all. :(
