I. Original Characters may only be apped by current players. Any other applications submitted not by a current player will be deleted without warning.

II. This application process is more rigid than the fandom applications due to the lack of canon references. Please make sure you provide as much information as possible needed for someone who has no knowledge prior. Do not treat it like a fandom application in terms of details and brush over things that can be assumed because of a linked Wiki site. History is important in this application.

III. Please make sure to use the application form below and post it in a journal entry on your character's journal or a musebox post (it must be a post with an app that is specifically for this game). You can't link a general application, but you are more than welcome to rehash information from another application to put in your AT one). Please see the FAQ for more information.

IV. No duplicate PBs, sorry! Please make sure they are not taken (either by an OC or that the actor/character/etc. you want to use is not already in game.)

. PB This is who you will be using to "represent" your character's appearance in game. As with most games, you may choose from real actors, models, etc.. You may also choose a character from a manga/anime/video game visual if the canon is obscure enough at the time that no one would likely apply for that character you'd use as your PB. Since AT is such a small game, these are approved on a case by case basis and the moderator reserves the right to request a different PB be used for whatever reason, although it will not cause your app to be rejected, just have it delayed concerning a decision. Certain actors may be rejected as well.
. SETTING/HISTORY: (brief explanation of what kind of setting your character is from. Basically, give an idea of what type of life and occupation they lead and what's normal to them.

▤ ELABORATE (Please give a brief (or not so brief, if you're the kind to write essays. We like those who like to write.. really!) description-- IN YOUR OWN WORDS-- of your character's personality, history, powers, skills, and relationships as you deem necessary to let us know as far as your playing the character will go.)

჻ HISTORY (Brief overview of the world they come from if they have one, their childhood if they have one, their young life, etc. You don't have to be in depth but enough for an understanding the character and how they currently came to be who/what they are is necessary. Please make sure to put more detail into situations that have defined the character and the most recent events before Nuadoria. While you may be as detailed as you want, please be considerate of the moderator's time and do not put unnecessary information (aka: please don't write it as if you're spoiling an entire book for me. If you want to include that info outside of your application for other people to read, please do, just don't submit it here.))
჻ PERSONALITY (TIP FOR BETTER CHANCE OF SUCCESS: This is the most important part of your application, especially if you plan to forego traditional samples and write interactive first person comments instead of prose or action!logs. Do not tell me they are funny, smart, and kind. Tell me how they're funny, smart, and kind. Tell me how they feel about things in their world and in their canon that are currently happening. Are they indifferent? Why?? Do they have a reason to be otherwise? Are they involved, instead? It IS possible to combine the personality and history sections together if you would prefer since the history section would also be explaining basic traits that make up the character)

▓ nuadoria specific

≡ WHAT ARE THEY BRINGING TO NUADORIA?: (weapons, cell phones, laptops, pets, etc. . There's no limit, per se, of what they're bringing as long as it makes sense it'd all actually be on them. Small things like wallet and money aren't really necessary. This is just to keep things in check so people aren't randomly obtaining crap they didn't think to have before. Characters with pets are allowed to bring the pets, if they wish.)
≡ YOUR CHARACTER'S ELEMENT: (when your character arrives in nuadoria, they receive a familiar known as a gestalt (see below). This familiar grants them elemental power so while they have their own powers limited, they possess undampened power native to the world Nuadoria is located in. You may choose from: Fire, Earth, Air, Water/Ice, Darkness, Light)
≡ WHAT IS THEIR GESTALT?: ( The familiar they receive on arrival in Nuadoria, which has both a normal form and a battle form. Please check this page for more information: http://community.livejournal.com/pareidolium/985.html )
≡ CHARACTER INTEGRATION?: Please explain how your character will be able to interact/get themselves involved with the game. Even fandom characters of certain caliber are potentially not a good fit for Nuadoria and often dropped, so you need to have an idea of how you can actively play your character and in what case.

〓 samples

✔ THIRD PERSON SAMPLE: 300 words, at least. Quality over quantity. 1000 words of bland stiff overly descriptive writing that does not flow easy for a reader is not acceptable. While AT does longer logs and such, it's understood that at the time of the application it may be hard to come up with a prompt. So, yes, 300 words, at least, but write well and write seriously because the less you write, the less you will be able to afford silly errors. Anything is fine (canon situation, their entrance to this RP, etc.) and previous samples are also fine. However, make sure you're still playing the character the same way as you will be judged on what you submit for samples, not how you officially introduce them to the game.

✔ FIRST PERSON SAMPLE: (Reaction to Nuadoria) - Prove you can voice the character here, in as few or as many words as you like. By the way, ". . ." won't cut it, no matter how "IC" it is (however, if you make an "video sample" of the character's physical reaction, that would be more than acceptable!). Thanks!

1.IMPORTANT DO NOT under any circumstance post a full application in the comments unless otherwise told by the moderator. If you have an issue with this, please talk to the moderator and it will be judged on a case by case basis. Reasons for this are in the FAQ section.
2. Character journals are required to have certain information on them before being accepted into the game even if your application has been accepted. If you are waiting on acceptance or already have been, please take the time to read here so you're not caught off guard. Any questions concerning it can be left there. You won't be let in the community until you have the requirements done. Thank you so much for understanding!
