67/365 - Hail Storm

We've had a drought for a few months now, so when I saw the ominous clouds heading our way, I thought they'd just go around us. Wrong! As soon as I got home, hail started falling! It covered the ground like snow. The wind was crazy. I was alone with my daughter freaking out. I'd never seen an actual hail storm before, and with all these tornadoes this year, thought for sure a tornado was headed our way. It never did, but the hail storm lasted for 20 minutes.

Anyways, after it stopped lightning, I went outside for some shots. Our yard was flooded!















I did a couple variations of the first photo. Couldn't choose which one I was satisfied with the most.
