Disturbing dreams and Slammer update
For the past week I've been having these disturbing dreams. It all started with this one where two boys were fighting at a school and one of them stabbed the other in the stomach with a screwdriver. The next one, Slammer's back legs fell off. The one I had this morning was the most disturbing. I was at my Grandma's house and a poisonous snake had gotten inside. I ran to the shed to get a hoe (I've had to kill snakes in yard before in real life) and started chopping at the snake. I realized too late that I wasn't hitting the snake anymore, but one of my cats. She was bloody at the neck and seeing that made me sick. So, I'm wondering why I'm suddenly having all these disturbing dreams. It's not pleasant.
I think Slammer is on his last days. He's started eating less, and has lost the use of his back legs. Last Saturday, he walked around the house but he hasn't walked since. His back is swayed very badly, and he sort of drags himself from pillow to pillow now. He's breathing through his mouth too, which isn't a good sign. We're taking care of him as best we can.
I've had the worst time trying to get online. This is the first time in two days that my net connection has worked, but no telling if it'll stay onlong enough to read my flist page. Here's to hoping it will!
