Cold cold cold cold. . . I can't believe I actually went downtown yesterday. It was so freakin' cold it felt like daggers of ice were stabbing at my eyeballs every time the wind blew. And yes, I know that those of you in the midwest and northeast are in much worse shape, but there's a reason I don't live up there. This is not supposed to happen in DC. At worst, we're supposed to hover around 32 and get lots of wintry mix that ties up traffic enough to delay school but that goes away by mid-afternoon. Instead, we're living in a freakin' sub-zero freezer.
Ah, global warming. You destroy the Great Barrier Reef, you melt the glaciers, you add more violent hurricanes to idyllic tourist spots, and you dramatically change weather patterns in unpredictable and dangerous ways. Is there anything you CAN'T do, global warming?
