of memu and cons
well it has been a pretty good weekend actully
Memu
for once i wasnt actuly shy and i spoke to people and it was really nice
and i swear ellie and sinead are so funny drunk though i ended up babysitting them..
but i think ellie's best quote was walking up to me and going 'OMG the buff guy hes sooo buff omg'
then looking scared and walking off
sinead, however, well firstly trying to rape laurence was quite amusing
then she started pulling some random which was just funny
though tania did get kinda upset when people left
so we stayed till the last band and spirits were quite low
but omg the last band were actuly amazing
plus the bassist played band new bass line at one piont so he gained my respect
but yeah the lead singer was really good like with the looking at the crowd
(and creating many fan girl moments in the process)
but i did feel sorry for the guy seeing has he got groped like 1000 times by fangirls worse (yes worse) than us
but so anyhow
me and hannah tell the dude it tania's b'day
and so they dedicate the song to her
and he sings like to her and he actuly leant into the crowd and gave her a kiss on the cheek!
(Tania:i'm never washing this cheek again..')
so after we give them a huge thankyou
and give the bassist the cake ellie made
and when we left he was like half way through it, they were so nice!
Convention
ok so we get there fairll early but theres still a que
but it moves quick and then these storm troopers are there and then batman walks past
and i knew i was at a convention. it made me happy =)
so we go straight to the signing place first
and i have to get a ticket to meet nathan fillion and it's like number 552
and we were early!
so we walked around and omg the stalls were so cool
i got like two X-Men comics, which i'm now in love with
and a reaver figure for £3!!!!
there were some good stalls
then i got stalked by the bloody star wars people again which wasn't funny.
so we go back and the tickets are up to 200.
then i see alan tudyk's signing is and open que so dad let me go and meet him
and alex came with me and ah he was so nice
he shook both our hands and signed everything and we got pictures and it was just very fun!
then dad said we might aswell get something to eat
so we went out, saw richard at the shop place he works at then got food at burger king
we come back and the tickets are like 300
and football was in an hour so yes dad starts going crazy
so we waited for a bit
and then the woman at the line says no more people can get stuff signed
so dad then maganged to get us in the que and we the the third last people to get in the que so we were very lucky.
but it was sooo worth it i swear nathan is too fucking nice!
we walk up and he shakes all our hands (including dad's)
dad then jokes about how he's missing football and he just laughs
and then see's the pic i'm getting signed is the photo i got with him so he'slike
'oh! so we have met before, whats you're name again'
me:'rebecca =]]]]]] '
nathan:' well rebecca i'm nathan and(to alex) who's this have i met you before ?'
alex:nope
n:thank god for that cause i wouldn't have remmebered a thing!
then he signs my photo and then he gets to alex one and goes
'ok so, alex,(signing photo) misbehave..if you ever get in trouble with your dad just say 'hey captins orders ok!'
it was so jokes
and then we go to leave and he goes
'nice to see you again' to me
and shakes all our hands and waves to dad and i leave
beaming all the way home =]
was a VERY good day and i am going to the next one!!
