I'm heading out on vacation this weekend (to this event), and I cannot make myself work today. Argh!
Much going on, at work and outside, but the long versions are too much to get into. Short versions: work; they want to make me Project Manager. This feels to me a bit like getting a field promotion to captain just before the charge begins... we'll see how this turns out. Personal; in the process of joining a fraternal order. So far this has been loads of fun.
I can't imagine how I will kill the next 5.5 hours.
