Soooo xmas is over now.
I had a good xmas.
I made back what I spent on gifts plus a lil extra which is nice.
Lauren gave me some really cute Zim stuff and a gift card to Target so I can go buy Family Guy Seasons 1&2 when it comes back in stock.
My sister gave me some nice stuff plus a gift card to Safeway.. YAY for groceries!
Paul gave me a receipt. No literally. A receipt. :D It makes him sound so cheap.. but nahh.. he preordered KINGDOM HEARTS 2 for me!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 ::squeals:: I cannot wait until that blasted game comes out.
Other than that... I got money... which is always good.
I've given everyone their gifts... and I think I did really well on gifts this year. I gave Lauren a "Music Major Survival Kit" :D She seemed to like all the stuff in it. For Paul, I bought him Firefly on DVD and some M&M star wars action figures :D My parents were easy enough... my sister and Barbara got gift cards...
And I still have two more people I have to give gifts to.. Beth and Phil. Beth I still have to go out and buy your's and Phil, if you read this, I have your present.. done. Complete... woohoo. I just need to see you to give you it.. and I promise it's wayyy awesome.
Other than that Christmas was ok. I didn't get to spend it with my whole family cause they celebrated yesterday on Christmas Eve, but I worked all day yesterday. So I spent today with my mom and dad and uncle.. which was nice. My Aunt, Uncle, Cousin and Cousin's son all came over for about an hour today too. So it was nice to see them.
I am sick of the "So how do you like it in the real world, Mindy?" SOOO sick of it. Just cause I chose to go to college doesn't mean I don't live in the real world. I've had a job since I started college, so I know what it's like to work.. and what it's like to pay bills, etc etc. BLAH!
Other than that.. meh. I think Paul's gift made me the happiest cause well... it's KINGDOM HEARTS! <3 ^.^ YaY!
Anyhow... I must head back to the house I'm house sitting for ... durrrrRR
