So I was just looking around on my profile page here on LJ and you can buy "virtual gifts" for your friends.  These are little icons that appear on your friend's profile page for 2 weeks.  There are things like flowers and greetings and stuff.  Some are free but some are 99 cents.

Who would pay real money for that?  They deserve a kick in the nuts.
