For naomi, summer break could be both torture and sweet relief. Torture because it meant she ended up spending more time in the company of the collection of freaks that squatted in her house and relief because she didn't have to put up with the constant chorus of imbeciles at school.There was always more reading to do and it was never hard to get her hands on some spliff considering the copious qauntities being grown in the backyard.
Naomi was trying very hard to put the whole embarrasing incident with katie out of her mind, but it seemed her nighttime fantasies had started to become more katie focused than emily. She tried to rationalise it that of course she would fantasise about katie, she had after all seen her naked. Not something she thought very likely to happen with emily and anyway they were twins, surely they were basically the same physically.
Thoughts of the twins could occupy Naomi for hours sitting alone in her bedroom. Her long time obsession with emily seemed to be fading and being replaced by thoughts of katie, especially the mental image of katie naked standing in front of her which seemed to be permanently seared into her brain now.
Her mother walking in on not one but two awkaward situations had embarassed Naomi more than she cared to admit. It was a hard enough thing admitting to yourself you liked girls without having to come out and admit to your mum that you did.The fact that gina brushed aside all of naomi's denials and seemed intent on getting her to invite round "that nice girl katie" frustrated Naomi no end.
Barely two weeks into summer break Naomi was being driven mad by her mum's efforts at being supportive and going completely stir crazy in the house. She needed to do something other than read in her room or masturbate at the thought of katie fitch naked, so a long trip to the park became a daily occurence.
