My grandma had already told me she liked some of my music-Yngwie Malmsteen, Yoshiki from X-Japan's piano solos, Steve Vai...but when she asked me about Indonesian death-metal band Kekal I was cought unawares.
Grandma: What's that?
Me: Kekal...why, you like them?
Grandma: Yeah. Are they a "steel" band?
Me: Ummm...Do you mean metal?
Grandma: Yes.
She tries. Plus, her tunafish salad is god-like and if you piss her off she can curse better than the most sea-hardened sailor. Now if only I could get her to like some hiphop at all. I love you Grandma.
