New place
I'm currently finishing a trader joe's pop tart knockoff in our new place. Sitting at the dining room table which gets lots of nice sun in the morning. Me moved most of our stuff with friends on Saturday and only went to the old place once yesterday. Yesterday we as mostly unpacking and resting. I'm going to head over in a few and get the dishes and food and clothes or whatever else I can for in my car.
Had a migraine yesterday too. Snuck up on me and I had to sleep for 3 hours to get rid of it.
Kristof seems super happy with the move! As am I. We can hear our neighbors on either side fairly easily if theirs our our front door is open but we don't care because the sound is in our living room. Our bedroom shares a wall only with our own dining room. Yay!
We've met all our neighbors too. All seem pretty nice, and the lady below is has loved there for 15 years. I get the feeling there are a few people who've been here for a long time, because it's a nice place.
Showered last night after jerry- rigging the shower rod to stay (after the rod came totally down and the rubber stuff that holds it came off the wall). The hot water didn't even last for 10 min I don't think....which I guess is my "main concern" about this place. Other than parking.
Lots of places to eat nearby. Within a 10 min walking distance too.
