I was going to take your little quiz...not because you insulted me, not because I desire to place myself in a political box, but to satisfy YOUR curiosity. I started taking it, but when I got to the 3rd question I had to stop. I was expecting at least a half-way reasonable account of whatever it means to be Republican. Honestly, I'm sad for you that your time was wasted in taking that quiz, and I hope you don't actually find it representative of who you are. I suppose it is representative of what you believe, and that makes me even sadder.

personally, i do find that to be quite harsh. It is just that, an online quiz, so it is nothing to have strong feelings about. Whenenever i take an online quiz, i try to answer the questions honestly and whatever the result is, i don't take it seriously.

I think its sad that you may assume that it is representative of what I believe. It is almost impossible to sum up what i believe in 9 questions. How could you even assume that that they provided perfect answers to all the questions? Republican, Democrat, Anarchist, Communist, Fascist. Whatever?! Not being Republican, or even agreeing with some republican ideals, donesn't make you a democrat, or whatever. I don't see what you meant by that comment.

it took less than 3 minutes to finish this quiz, so i don't think i wasted too much time. And i wasn't insulting you. I thought it was a little friendly nudge or something like that. I'm sorry you were offended.

Oh dear.
I guess I shouldn't write lj comments when I'm in an argumentative mood. I'd like you to re-read that last comment with this new peice of information in mind: I don't take anything seriously, pretty much ever, and if I EVER do I get over it in about 23 seconds. I guess it's hard to hear sarcasm in written words sometimes. Sorry.

Seriously though, I think I just have a thing against quizzes like that in general, because I hate being characterized and compared and, like I said (what my old English teacher always talked about), "put in a binary box"(being broken down to that which I am and I am not (ex. I am a woman, so I am not a man; I am caucasian, so I am not Asian, etc; I am a Democrat, so I am not a Republican).

I stand-by my thought that the quiz is representative of what you believe since you're choosing to present the results to others.

And I liked that you called me chicken.
