tobacco bags are so ugly and sad when they're close to empty

I absolutely love this city. I love the concept of cities. How everything just builds on each other, how ideas and trends diffuse so quickly and how people in cities just have a different way of doing things than in other places. Today i went down to the village by myself, because Ben's midterm is due very soon and he had class. He's going to be busy tonight, but we're supposed to get dinner. I am not sure what i'm going to do tonight, but i think i'll catch a movie.
I havn't seen a movie in so long. It is seriously culture shock when i see a theatre. I never hear of any of those movies that are playing,i know nothing about them. Back in Davis i would see at least the trailers or TV ads for movies, but up in Humboldt i don't ever hear about new movies. It is weird, because it is culture shock of my culture.
Ben may live with me in San Francisco this summer. That would be the coolest thing in the world if he does. Hopefully everything goes according to plan so that I live there this summer. I love big cities.

But it is soooo cold outside! and there is snow!

This school is so different than anything i've seen. Pratt is a very impressive school. The people here have so much talent, it is pretty amazing. I've always wished i had at least an ounce of artistic talent, and being here makes me wish that even more. Seeing the photography "gallery" yesterday made me want to take another crack at photography. Humboldt has some of the nicest places to take landscape photos. I've been trying to get a chance to ride my bike somewhere and just take photos, maybe when i get back i'll try harder. There is a very disgusting photo, however, in the gallery. It is a picture of someone licking a vagina and a tuna sticking out of it. I ate a tuna melt sandwich earlier today and i started thinking about it and i couldn't finish the sandwich. The people in the photography department really have a thing for nudity.
