Author’s name: I don't share my real name over public forums, sorry. :) I've used 'Alix' as a handle on the internet for, crap, twenty something years now and more recently Tersa because for some reason Alix is starting to be taken in a lot of sites. ;) LJ: tersa. Er. What genre(s) do you enjoy writing? When it comes down to it, everything I write is romance of some sort. What genre(s) do you enjoy reading? Yes? My library runs towards thick, chewy, epic fantasy, but I'm omnivorous, I tend to read a little of everything. What authors influenced you the most? Guy Gavriel Kay (which I have to be careful about). grrm. Sue Blalock. What are you currently working on? Nothing! What are your strengths as an author? I've mostly written fanfic, but I've been told I'm pretty good at characterization and dialogue. What are your weaknesses as an author? Pretty much everything else. ;) I can't seem to hold a story together for more than novella length at the most. I get ideas but I can't seem to string them together into novel-length. Interests: Video games; knitting, crocheting, and spinning; gardening (for half a year); animals; biological sciences; nutrition; history; etc. etc. etc. Anything else? I think I've gone on enough for the token "non-writer" :) Are you here to concrit or receive concrit or other? I'm here to concrit and as 'audience'. I may suck at writing my own stuff, but I've done enough writing (and reading) over the years to be a semi-decent beta, depending on what you want. Also, I've been a voracious student of the writing industry even if I don't participate in it directly and might have some insight or knowledge to contribute.
