I grew up with books. My parents' five hundred square foot apartment was practically covered with books. I had more than 500 books by I turned 10. I didn't have an allowance, I had a book allotment.
I still love books and my entire family does. But I've been reading more e-books than real books lately and that got me thinking.
If I visit someone, the first thing I look at is their bookshelf. With the proliferation of e-books, what will we have on our walls? How will we share books with our friends? Where will we smell old books?
