Summary: Gwendolyn has prepared, she's gathered an interested group. Now it's time to put them all to the test.

Reporting for duty: one diligent Instructor, who'd agreed to oversee the training in a semi-official capacity. He lifted his hand in a lazy wave as Gwendolyn approached.

"Morning."

Gwendolyn nodded and bowed her head in semi-salute. She figured he'd be the first up.

"Good day, Instructor Snow. Thank you again for agreeing to oversee this outing."

Bulla was not a morning person, but getting up at 6:30am every morning for her classes had at least gotten her used to having to get up. She was grateful that this wasn't happening the day after her birthday. After being blissfully unaware until later that her drinks had been spiked, Bulla had enjoyed several glasses of the juice at her party. She had been extremely grateful that the Sponsorship Games on Sunday were an afternoon affair. Her first (and hopefully only) hangover would have been that much worse if she hadn't been able to spend the morning in bed.

"Morning," she greeted as she approached, letting herself stretch out a little.

"Good morning, Bulla," she greeted her friend. Truly, the spiked drinks of the party had been yet another reason why she had to postpone this trip. "I take it you are feeling better today?"

Mikuru ran up in her battle waitress costume with her twin pistols tucked into the back of her apron. She'd been slightly embarrassed to find that her roommate had beaten her up and out of the dorm.

"Sorry to keep you waiting," she said.

"On the contrary, I should apologize for leaving without you," Gwendolyn replied. She had, admittedly, only left earlier due to restlessness.

She looked at the assembled. Only one person missing, but it was still pretty early...

Bulla waited for Gwendolyn and Mikuru to finish talking before replying to Gwendolyn's question.

"Much better," she said with a nod. "The Sunday after my party was a little rough, but I was okay by Monday."

"Huh. I already get the feeling I won't have to lift a finger," Snow said, punching his palm in idle anticipation of the event.

Gwendolyn nodded, glad to hear Bulla was recovered soon enough, and agreed with Snow's sentiment. "Hopefully your feeling will prove true, Instructor Snow," she commented.

Some time later, she looked at the time on the Directory's board. It was getting late... "Shall we start the outing?"

"You're the boss as far as I'm concerned," Snow said. "You're leading."

He couldn't foresee any reason he'd need to step up and take charge. Considering the team, he'd be considering this a pleasant break!

"Instructor Villiers is right," said Bulla. With a playful smile, she added, "So lead the way, Boss Lady Gwendolyn."

Gwendolyn couldn't help but chuckle at that. "Very well. Let us go, then. With luck, we should be finished in time for lunch."

And so she led the three others out of the Garden.

Mikuru kept checking her guns and bullets as they went, a little nervous. Sure, she'd learnt about GFs in class and had worked with Quetzacotl and Shiva, but fighting one? That was a lot scarier.
