Arlington SG1 Convention
I was watching Prometheus Unbound last night (omg! the cackling from my room probably has my roommates terrified), and there's gonna be a SG-1 Convention next weekend in Arlington. I haven't decided to go yet, honestly. Tix to get an autograph from MS are $30 alone, not including the cost of admission (photos are $50). I like him and all, but there's something about charging that much for a scribble that irks me. Also, I'd have to go alone and I haven't been to a convention in so long that I've forgotten what people do there. Aren't I silly? I'll go to a violent protest alone, but I'm scared of a convention? Goodness.
Oh, shite. Mapquest says the hotel is a mere 5 miles from my house, about 9 minutes away by car. Christ, I'm surely a crap fan if I don't go and have a look 'round.
