The second time with TSCB.

*action*

We find ouselves in the very same room Billy first encountered The Strange Celestial Being, this time The Strange Celestial Being appears to be awake and focused.

The Strange Celestial Being (M):(ready to answer questions) What might I do you for my boy?
Billy (B): (without pacing, calm, collected) Well, I was wondering just now...you see, I just came back from a game with my friends...a roleplaying game. It was dramatic, it was awe inspiring, it was fun, and it was serious. (breaks eye contact with a smile then returns eye contact) I was wondering how we can do these things? How come we dont have a worry in the world? How are we able to get along so well? I mean, Ive known Sean and Taylor for most of my life, how is it that this friendship has lasted so long while when I look around to others...its just not the same at all.
(M):(modest) Well then my boy, nothing too hard to answer. (lightly chuckles) I must say though that this is a question that should go unanswered. You are old enough now to know truth from farse, you have dealt with both since you were a child and I know you have the confidence to discern the two apart. No, this is a question that I don't need to even speak of again, because you have already answered it, you must only look to where you know truth can be found, inside yourself.

Billy's gaze remains unbroken, his shoulders pull back only slightly and he digs his hands into his pockets. The Strange Celestial Being slightly shits so as to move one leg of the other, providing a more comfortable position in his chair.

(M): Are you done my boy?
(B):(with a sigh) I suppose so.
(M):(inquisitive) Might I then ask you something, my boy?
(B):(with positive regard in not having to ask the next 'meaningless' question) Sure.
(M):(to the point) What is it like being young?
(B):(looking for an answer) Uhhhhhh...well...I uhm...dont really know if you should take my answer to fact.
(M):(persistent) You are able to ask so many questions, but I am not permitted one answer?
(B):(thinking hes offended The Strange Celestial Being) Well oh, okay, I guess here it goes (in attempt to please TSCB) Being young...(really reaches)...means to be free.(emphasis on last word)
(M):(curious) Free?
(B):(takes a big breathe) Well, its like this, when your young its sort of like being like a wild stallion. (pauses briefly as he realizes who else he has told this to) Wild and free, with no boundaries, no one really forcing you to do anything that isn't either incredibly simple or dangerous. You aren't folded into the resistance of pop-society and the shit it can throw at you. You havent been ripened into the state where propaganda actually controls some parts of your thinking, and the thought of personal property and money are beyond you. Although, as young as any youngster might be, they can still contribute to evil acts, but these decisions are made by a mind that is, how shall I say it, prepubescent? Once a child achieves a status or a rank in society and gets a taste of power, thats when the wild stallion is broken. Then years later down the road you just become another old riding horse, the kind that only knows the trails its been on a thousand times, the kind of old horse that gives meaning to the word repetetive. You become boring and lame because you let society control certain aspects of your life....like....when girls look attractive and when they dont look attractive. Your told which cars are 'cooler' and you know which cars are 'shit'. You know dumb things that dont make much sense like, 'Dont mess with Texas' and God forgives everything even though one of the ten commandments is 'Thou shalt not kill'. It gets confusing, basically though, a child is no longer a part of youth or innocence after he is brought in and locked away forever in society, a child then becomes a part of society itself. And Society, is flawed far beyond just being disorganized. Society and community are just, everyday things that you walk through and live through with no adventure and nothing new except when it rains, then you have new pot holes to avoid. But what is life without potholes? Growing up wasnt meant to be easy, well, not the way I see it anyway. And losing your innocence can be a very terrible thing. But, since change is inevitable then we must learn these things and how to avoid them. So we go around trying hard not to be controlled. We try so hard to break the system, but in the end...in the end my dear alien friend...the system ends up breaking us.
(M):(extremely bored) Although jumbled, I see hints of truth in your...long statement. I tire my boy, I need rest. Come again another day, I would very much appreciate another horse story. (smiles)
(B):(a bit frustrated) Alright...Ill see you later.

And with that Billy leaves the room, wondering for once, if he spoke the truth.

*cut*
