Dean cleared his throat loudly, interrupting Seamus from his Transfiguration homework.
The Irishman finished his sentence, and then looked up expectantly.
“So. Ginny kyboshed it.”
Seamus arched an eyebrow, surprised by Dean’s seemingly careless attitude about this little snag in his happily ever after with the redhead.
“You okay, mate?”
Dean collapsed next to him on the couch. “Been worse. Saw it coming, anyway.” He picked a piece of lint from Seamus’ jumper and sighed, leaning back.
The minute Dean shut his eyes, Seamus allowed the grin he’d been restraining to take over and his happiness leeway.
