You're All That I've Got - A Dean/Sam Fanmix.
Okay, reception of my last fanmix was surprisingly good, so I decided to go ahead and complete work on my next fanmix project, a Dean/Sam mix. :3
The track selections for this mix are all songs that remind me of different aspects of the brothers' relationship but it WAS put together with the Dean/Sam ship in mind, so a lot of the songs are romantic in nature. If Wincest isn't your cup of tea, I suggest you stay away from this mix. >_< Now some of the songs that I've selected may not make much sense at face value, so there is a quick explanation following each song just so you know what I was thinking.

o2. Thinking About You by Radiohead
been thinking about you and there's no rest
should i still love you, still see you in your bed?
(Chosen in mind of the Dean/Sam ship. Incest is illegal and lot of people feel it is morally ambiguous to say the very least. Therefore this song was picked for the doubts that they both would feel if there was, indeed, something more than sibling love/friendship there.)

yet you remain, because all you need is me
(This song makes me laugh. xD It makes me think about all the fighting they do, and yet they are still best friends and closer than most brothers. Sam may bitch and complain, but in the long run he sticks by Dean and that's what matters most.)

and both of us sentenced to time and now we're all alone
(Obviously after everything that's gone down in their lives, it's not likely that the Winchester brothers are just gonna defeat the bad guys and go off and live normal lives with the all-American-dream. It'd be impossible for them to settle down and forget about what they've seen and done. They're in this for life and all they've got is each other.)

(This song makes me think about how Sam must be thinking about Dean's condition since returning
from hell, how his brother isn't the big, strong, protective figure he used to be.)

we fell right out of the universe
and here we are on shaky ground, in the darkness and creep around
(Another song that reminds me of the bond between them, and how they are alone in everything - all Sam has is Dean and all Dean has is Sam.)

if i could tear you from the ceiling, i know the best have tried
i'd fill your every breath with meaning and find a place we both could hide
(This song just generally puts me in mind of what Dean wants for Sam currently in the show. He's scared that his brother is becoming something evil and rather than fight 'the good fight' I think all in all he'd rather just take Sam away to somewhere safe, a place where they can just forget about all the things they've seen and what they've done.)

(This song makes me think about what Dean must have felt when Sam just up and left for Standford, way back when. Abandoned? Shocked? Probably all of the above.)

(Okay, so this reminds me of the disappointment that Sam must feel being faced with Dean no longer being the same person he used to be. Something was killed inside of him during his time in hell, and I can only imagine that Sam, despite everything he says, is - somewhere inside - disappointed.)
