I just fried my fucking computer. As if I really fucking needed that to happen. Well, I have my mum's laptop for internety stuff; however, that doesn't mean I'm not fucking pissed, yeah?
I've put my ferrets up for "adoption" and I've already found a potential family for them. Hopefully it all goes over well. Ferrets did not really fit my personality; that along with the nasty allergies I get towards them I feel it's best they recieve more love and attention in another home. In all honesty the ferrets were somewhat of an impulse purchase which, in retrospect, was a horrible thing for me to do.
Due to my love of animals, I've decided to start looking into other possible fluffy (actually feathery) companions. Hopefully sometime after my ferrets have been adopted I'll be able to adopt a bird from a bird rescue in Wisconsin. At the moment they have this wonderful green cheeked conure, but of course it will probably be adopted before I end up visiting them. This time I have been doing my homework and know what to expect. I am completely prepared to deal with a bird, unlike I was with the ferrets.
With winter coming I'm starting to worry about another winter driving my Escort. My dad's 1985 AMC Eagle is looking very tempting for the four-wheel drive. It will need an engine rebuild along with a clutch rebuild, which amounts to around $360 for the engine rebuild alone. I'm not aware of what the clutch would cost, but it is a hydraulic clutch and the master and slave cylinders will probably both need rebuilding. I'm not sure if the clutch itself is still good; the main motivation for me wanting the vehicle is the four-wheel drive. Another would be that it is designed after the 1970 AMC Hornet, so it's a decent looking car as well. The funny thing about it is that it has been parked outside for about 10 years and there isn't a spot of rust on the damn thing. It's a fucking tank, I say!
Anyway, to update anybody that cares to read about my life... Well, if you want to know I guess comment and I can do that. This post has already been long enough.
