So I splurged $12 on an impact driver, I've had no more stripped screws. I also picked up my own rachet set so 1) I have it 2) I'm not using my dad's/relying on my dad's
The reason the bike wasn't running was a bad spark plug cable or two... Three of the four spark plugs have carbon build up, and the fourth has nothing, it's like new.
At the moment I've got the entire engine torn down, minus the gearbox and clutch... Which I will have to take apart because I dropped an important seal down into it on accident (of course all seals are important, but this one is critical, it keeps the compression so the engine can fire.) Hopefully it hasn't been damaged since it did fall into the gearbox... If it did get damaged, I do have the old seals so I can put one of those back into it's place and hopefully that will be good enough (Actually it will because the old ones aren't really in too bad of shape, not the greatest, but they will suffice.)
I spent about 9 hours on the bike today, and I have to say I'm moving along with the seals and gaskets, I've got a pretty good number of them replaced. Once I clean the engine up a bit and put it back together I'll put a battery in it and try to turn it over, keeping my fingers crossed.
