Wow, I almost forgot what Livejournal is!!
geezer, time flies, no?
so what has been happeneing with me you may ask? well, i will tell you...RIGHT NOW!
christmas was awesome....actually the day was kind of long, but it was really good. i got my kick ass new camera (canon rebel xt) hopefully my old camera won't become jealous of it, but let's be honest, my new camera does a lot more hella awesome stuff than my old camera can do. seeing the family was great! my uncle and three cousins from florida came, and it was sooooo good to see them. it's nuts when we all get together because we all have the same personality: loud, obnoxious, hilarious and insane personality.
i applied to grad school at the university of illinois at urbana champaign. ill find out in march if i have been accepted. i stress out about this a lot because my body of work dealt with a subject matter that i had never photographed before. i think i did well, and i honestly can't tell you how relieved i am that i have that application submitted!!
i also accepted an internship with the boys and girls club of springfield. i will be helping organize thier main fundraiser a basketball tournamnet. it will be lots of fun and great experience! it doesn't deal with photography, but it will be good to have experience in other things beside photography.
new year's eve was good too, i got to hang out with my favorite people, i was really sick and didn't feel all that hot, and have been recovering from a sinus infection the past week, but it was good to see everyone and have lots of fun!
this past week i was at wyants. it was good seeing him so much, i went with his family to ikea...um AWESOME STORE!!! i seriously can't wait to start decorating my house with all ikea stuff! fo real real!!!
the plan is to go back to charleston tomorrow for more mom time and getting my teeth cleaned, then ill be back in springfield and school starts up. next semester i just have my internship, a class that coincides with my internship and an online class about the beatles...ahahah, i laughed a little too. then i graduate....very scary. it honestly seems just like yesterday i was spending 95% of my time in david and roger's room. i can't explain where the past four years have gone!
