Just Don't Understand
Why do humans obsess about how they look? Okay, consider this is coming from a bear who wants to get all dressed up for DragonCon, this might sound a little hypocritical. I'm serious, though. PK comes in from work and does push-ups and sit-ups and rides his bike for an hour. He goes outside so he can change his skin color. He worries about his waistline and his hairline and maybe even his drumline. He has gray hair now and that makes him happy, but the cute bald spot makes him annoyed. He was even obsessed with his tennis shoes matching his shorts.
Is it the television? He was watching some show where the 'ugly' girl was beautiful. All they did was pull her hair back and make her wear glasses. (He later commented that he thought she was the best looking one. So there is hope for him.) I see the commercials with the men with the lines on their tummies. Or the skinny girls... I'm serious. They don't look happy to be wearing the clothes made by some place with a dumb name. They look hungry and cold. Someone get them a knit sweater and a sandwich.
I have a little tummy. Not like I'm going to try to get a 'perfect' little four-pack. I'm a little fuzzy. I have bad fur days. But I don't let that affect me. You know why? When the day is over I'm still gonna cuddle with PK and I'll know everything will be okay.
Time for me to log onto City of Heroes. I've got a new controller on the Victory server that's a lot of fun. Being a villain was cool, but this hero stuff is nice too. By the way, what is WoW? Would I really like it? Does it have bears?
