In other news...
It was our first-year anniversary on Monday. We had a fantastic weekend, but it wasn't highly romantical. Still delightful - we took the Duck Tour of Boston, and learned quite a bit about Paul Revere, and a slight amount about what a silly idea it is to storm Iwo Jima under heavy fire, in an amphibious vehicle whose top speed is 10 mph. Also saw many sights. My recommendation for better sight-seeing is to not sit in the front-row seats, as you can see out over the sides considerably better from a couple of rows back. Despite the fact that we were 30 minutes ahead of ticketed time, as recommended, we were second-to-last group in line, leaving not much choice of seats.
We're figuring that we'll enjoy the anniversary more once we're recovered from having houseguests... though for me the first step in recovery is to catch up on all the little things, like balancing the checkbook and pruning my garden mint jungle and ordering crap on eBay and catching up on correspondance... and LJ, and email, and webcomics...
