I just placed an order for a box of little rectangle cards by the moo company.
I have business cards from work now, but they aren't particularly useful, since I don't really leave the local office, so I don't meet anybody who can't just walk to my cube if they want to talk to me. I do get out and meet people in my spare time, though, and I'm trying to do more of that, and gosh wouldn't it be convenient to have a card with my real email instead of my work address?
So, I collected the photos that vaguely depicted the things that people I meet might like looking at, and made them into little calling cards. Sorry for the undramatic display.

It was kind of fun to pretend to be a photographer at the bar. :)
Our new camera makes that easier, though. It's pretty funny, I'm the one who's trying to use a near-point-and-shoot camera to do complicated things, and D's the one who actually has a clue how to work this camera, or in fact, the only one of us with true fundamental photography knowledge. Apparently "depth of field" is the same thing as a laser's Rayleigh range - who knew?
