Accomplishments of the Weekend:
Shopping for wedding stuff I don't even need to worry about yet: Check! (oh, good, I've got a hair comb, and a little stand to put the cake-toppers on.)
Clean House: half-check. (dishes yes! cat-barf no.)
Doing wedding stuff that's actually kind of urgent: No check. (well, of course it's not going to rain. Why would we need a tent?)
Reading Harry Potter: Check! (opinion - it's a good thing I read fast, because it wouldn't be worth it if it took me 4 days.)
Revising journal-article draft for work: no check. (but I'm working on that now)
Talking on the phone a lot: Check! (chose bridemaid dress, with the help of modern technology)
Playing with cat: Check! (that's important, right?)
Dirk gets home tonight! hooray!
